Simple OS, by Simple Home Exits · Last updated October 21, 2026

Who we are

Simple OS is the private operating system of Simple Home Exits. Only people the company invites can sign in. This policy says what information Simple OS keeps, why, who can see it, how long it is kept, and how to ask about it.

What Simple OS keeps

Plaid

Simple OS uses Plaid to connect to the company's banks and card companies. An admin signs in to the bank in Plaid's own window and agrees there to what is shared. Plaid's handling of that information is described in Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. The access key Plaid returns is stored encrypted and is deleted when the bank is disconnected.

How it is used

Only to run the business of Simple Home Exits: tracking properties and deals, paying bills, and keeping the company's own accounts up to date. Information is not sold, not shared for marketing, and not used for advertising.

Who can see it

How it is protected

Information travels only over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is stored encrypted. Plaid access keys are encrypted a second time by Simple OS. Changes to bank and card history are kept and cannot be edited.
